Hello

My name is Sarah and I am an experienced psychologist specialising in peoples' experience at work. I am a 'prac-academic', which means my work is evidence-based and I am a technical expert in my own right. I have dedicated my career to understanding the levers to having the best experience at work, and I want to help you achieve that.

My Story

I started this career when I completed my undergraduate and graduate studies in psychology. I became a registered psychologist with Ahpra endorsement in organisational psychology. You can look me up on the Ahpra website.

I completed my PhD in 2023. I have published peer reviewed research on topics such leadership, management, psychological safety and trust at work, and organisational change. Have a read about me on ResearchGate

I worked for over a decade in organisations supporting their strategic people development agendas. I have people management and executive leadership experience.

Throughout my career I kept seeing the same issue present itself - the most amazing minds and technical expertise would advance to leadership. Their expertise was developed from formal education, qualifications, and on the job experience. However, these extraordinary individuals were rarely supported with the right means to help them grow their people and relational capability, as well as the ability to ensure self care.

What happened next every time? Fatigue, stress, mistakes, suboptimal behaviour, and burnout. The outcome was bad for the person and bad for the organisation.

My goal is to help break that cycle. I offer support to individuals and organisations so that these highly talented and valuable professionals can thrive in the workplace.

We invest a lot of time, money, and energy into developing technical skills (university degress, professional associations, continuous professional development, etc.) that yield results. It makes sense that if we want to have the edge at work, we need to invest in our interpersonal skills and coping strategies.

It is not likely that work is going to get easier, so reach out. I can help.

You are extraordinary. Let me help keep you that way.
